Professor Guillaume Ekambi Dibongue has been appointed President of the Ethics Committee of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Cameroon (CNOSC) for the 2025-2028 Olympiad.
This nomination highlights his distinguished career and dedication to promoting integrity in sports. As head of the committee, he will oversee the enforcement of ethical principles across all sports bodies affiliated with the CNOSC, ensuring transparency in competitions and adherence to Olympic values.
With his wealth of experience, Professor Dibongue aims to foster clean sports practices and combat corruption or doping. His leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the image of Cameroonian sports on the international stage.
According to Colonel Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, President of the CNOSC who signed this decision, Professor Ekambi Dibonguè who is also President of the Board of Directors of the University of Douala, will have the mission “to update the Code of Ethics of CNOSC; to proceed with the development of the Regulations of the CNOSC Ethics Committee and submit them for approval to the CNOSC Board of Directors.”
